A limited edition Panerai timepiece, a Chopard creation and a private dinner by South Africa’s top chef were all up for auction at the Imibala Trust Summer Gala at Vergelegen wine farm in Stellenbosch.

The ballet studio falls under our Creative and Performing Arts department, which encourages over 500 children to discover and develop their artist performing skills in a way that is not always possible at school.

We are excited to share that we have teamed up with Erinvale Estate Hotel & Spa and Tereo Community School this year for Mandela day. Erinvale made individual hampers, each with a personalised card for each child at Tereo, a sandwich, juice, chips and a small pack with sweets.

Officine Panerai is an Italian luxury watch manufacturer who has supported Imibala through the provision of a state-of-the-art computer lab and a set of 22 new Samsung tablets for educational purposes. Panerai has also developed a series of online master classes for Imibala's high school learners, focused on developing their general knowledge and life skills. We are delighted to share how our students interact with and enjoy the tablets.

Over the past six months, we have eagerly watched the gradual transformation of our ballet studio unfolding. The Imibala Creative Arts Department is delighted and proud to announce the ballet studio is up and running with classes having resumed last month.
