As individuals have offered their time and shared their passion and skills on a committed basis, Imibala has been able to strengthen and diversify the programmes it can offer.

There are many areas for volunteering and the focus is on providing a safe space for children to develop skills and flourish as they learn about themselves.

In turn, Imibala provides opportunities for volunteers to have direct contact with children, get involved in administrative support, programme development or research. Imibala runs a lean ship in terms of staff capacity, due to our strong volunteer cohort. From time to time, international volunteers, singly or in teams, spend time with us.
